The City of Enterprise is currently accepting nominations for the position of Planning Commissioner. There are (2) positions open for appointment. One is a 3 yr term to replace Jared Bollinger who was recently elected to the City Council, and the other is a 5 yr term to replace Kim Thomas who has completed his term of service. The Mayor makes the appointment with the advice and consent of the City Council. Planning Commission meetings are usually held once a month on a Tuesday evening, and could last 1 hour or more.
The Planning Commission is a review and recommendation body for the City Council, with some limited decision making authority in the area of land use. Some of the responsibilities of the Planning Commission are: review of subdivision requests, conditional use permit applications, zone change requests, annexation applications, review business business license applications, and review of the Enterprise General Plan
